Challenge 2: Worldwide Witness

Today we are starting the second challenge. We are very curious about what you have learned and or have experienced after following the previous challenge. Please let us know by sending us an email or by starting a conversation in our chat.

Worldwide Witness

2000 years ago, Jesus started a movement that will never stop. From that moment in Jerusalem until this day the worldwide church exists – it is a group of people that will follow Jesus in everything. Jesus binds Himself to this group, the church. In the Bible, He uses words like ‘bride’, ‘treasure’, or ‘apple of His eye’ when He talks about the Church. The church is connected worldwide.

Who are you connected to?

In this microCHALLENGE, we challenge you to encourage your worldwide brothers and sisters. You can send a postcard or a message via text or social media, or give someone a call. Every day we challenge you to encourage one person, not just from your own country but – and that is the challenge – every day from another country. The first couple of days will be easy, but how long can you keep it up? Be creative and encourage your worldwide family in Christ.

Let us know how many days you managed.

GlobalRize

GlobalRize spreads the Gospel in an increasing number of languages. We are active in many languages on social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. In most of them, we also offer several courses about the Bible and the Christian faith, such as BiblBasics (an introductory course about Christianity) where each student is assigned a mentor to guide them through the course. Also, there are many helpful articles covering various topics about the Christian faith that are available in different languages.

When you click on the link, you can see which languages we are active in, and how.

You can chat with us through the chat button in the lower-right corner of the screen.

This challenge is the result of a collaboration between GlobalRize and Alongsiders.
