Satan may thrash around a bit more, but his demise is sure. Jesus wins!
Satan is the great cosmic terrorist. He claims to be a freedom fighter who wants to free us from God’s oppression. He promises that we will become like God, the masters of our own destiny. But he only brings death and destruction, pain and misery, grief and despair. The fruit that he offers, becomes as ash in your mouth.
Fortunately, the Lord does not negotiate with terrorists. He is not a pacifist. He will bruise satan with violence. Only then eternal peace becomes possible.
The outcome and the future are certain. It is certain because the devil is powerful, but God almighty. It is certain because the Lord Jesus on the cross has inflicted a devastating wound on the devil. It’s because the Lord God promises it to us in His Word.
Jesus wins. When we are in His team, we win with Him. Do you see this victory in your own life?
