Unconditional love

“Overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:21)

God’s unconditional love for us teaches us to love and help even our enemies.

The Lord Jesus tells us of someone who received a great debt. Then he was very hard against someone who owed him a small amount of money. From a legal point of view there is not much to say about the situation. Yet we feel that it does not belong.

We are the ones who received remission of our great debt to God. That makes us so happy that we are not on our rights towards others. Even if they do hostile, we still love them and help them. In this way we hope to win them for the Kingdom of God.

The alternative is not beautiful. If we answer evil with evil, we are no different than others. Then we ourselves are overcome by evil.

When we are under the ray of God’s love, we are fulfilled. We are overflowing. There is enough for everyone.

Do you truly feel fulfilled? If not, have you shared this with Lord in prayer?
