“Justified by faith apart from works of the law.” (Romans 3:28)
Faith -a thing so small- leads us to eternal life -so tremendously great. Grace!
A rudder is small, but it does determine the direction of a big ship. Pulling a trigger is a small movement that can have deadly consequences. A giant tree can grow from one small acorn.
Something can be very small, but still have tremendous consequences. Sometimes the relationship seems to be completely lost. It is the same with faith. Faith in Jesus is something small and inconspicuous. Someone can receive faith and it will not be seen from a distance. But the consequences are radically! He is transformed from the darkness into the light. He has turned away from the way to destruction and is now rerouted to heaven.
Our faith is something small. The cause for our salvation are not a result of our small faith, but in the great grace of God. That is why, as believers, we sing the praises of God, and not of ourselves.
How has faith changed your life?
