Are you ready for it? We certainly are.
Do you know someone who is really committed? Like over-the-top committed? Maybe someone from within the sports world? Or someone who is completely focused on their study or career? Or maybe it is a savings target that dominates everything. Commitment – that is what we’re talking about. If you look at Jesus, you’ll see huge commitment as well. For Jesus, it was doing the will of His Father, and the ultimate highlight of that commitment was the cross when He gives everything.
What do you commit yourself to?
In this microCHALLENGE, we challenge you to commit yourself to reading, listening, and journaling. It is pretty simple. You read one chapter of the Bible twice every day. This can be any chapter, you can choose. Then you simply pause for 10 minutes and listen to what Jesus is telling you. Finally, you write these lessons down in your journal. Let’s see what will happen.
We would love it if you would share with us what Jesus is showing and teaching you through His Word and Spirit this week. So please let us know by responding in our chat (chat button in the lower-right corner of the screen), or by sending us an email.
Tip: We have a great Bible reading plan that can help you with this challenge.
Joy in Endurance
We are often called to endurance or perseverance in the Scriptures, and we agree with the goal; but it seems so difficult and tiring. Can we even make it? These lessons look at endurance in a new way from Scripture, that is uplifting and joyful.
God’s blessing on this challenge. Our prayer is that you may grow closer to God and become more and more impressed with His awesome greatness.
