Fabián Chinatti

I was born in Uruguay in 1969 (April 9) into a Catholic family. My father abandoned us when I was three years old. At the age of nine, I started working on the streets, and that same year I was invited to a Christian camp where I heard about Jesus. At age 12, I gave my life to Jesus. I studied shipbuilding in wood and fiberglass. At age 21, I went to Chile to do my bachelor's degree in theology. I began pastoring at age 25 and married Ruth, a Chilean woman, at age 26. We went as missionaries to Argentina to start CIMA Argentina and serve at the CCMT (Center for Cross-Cultural Mission Training), where I later became the director after completing a master's degree in missiology in Brazil at the CEM (Evangelical Center for Missions). My only daughter, Tania, was born in Argentina. We returned to Chile and for the past 15 years we have been pastoring a small congregation called Casa Cristo, which we started in 2011. I am bivocational, I have my own SME (Small and Medium Enterprise), which is where my resources come from, and I am a church pastor. I also run and compete in long-distance and middle-distance races. My greatest achievement so far is second place in the 10K at the 2025 Santiago Marathon.
